I totally agree. I think my pic is large enough most recognize me but I had about 10 ppl say hi to me that I couldn't recognize. It was a fun experiment though :)

Sorry we didn't meet. If we had early in the evening I did have my nametag w/ full name & @pattersonbrands handle. But later on I bought a ten pack of Shane/Steve's book and somehow the nametag got stuck on the cellophane of the book…
I completely agree with you - when I go to meetups and put my twitter name on my nametag, people who don't know me personally always greet me knowingly because we've tweeted to eachother.
